Online Film Screening & Discussion: A Spiritual Nature Photographer Explores Love
Please join us for an online screening and discussion of Seer: A Spiritual Nature Photographer Explores Love, a film from theologian, a photographer, and adventurer Thomas Jay Oord.
The event will take place over Zoom on May 29 at 4pm EST.
Oord is a best-selling and award-winning author, having written or edited more than forty books. He also directs doctoral programs at Northwind Theological Seminary and directs the Center for Open and Relational Theology.
In this film, Oord explores various spiritualities as they relate to nature and love. As a photographer, Oord's artistic vision tells a variety of stories. As no stranger to hardship and controversy, Oord looks for divinity and love in the natural world.
The event will be facilitated by Joshua Polanski, the director of engagement at Interfaith Photovoice. In addition to his interfaith work, Joshua is also an individually accredited film critic by Rotten Tomatoes and a member of the Michigan Movie Critics Guild.
This is a free event, open to the public. The film has a 40 minute run-time, which will be followed by a discussion with Oord.
