God is Omnipresent

This is a picture of the wonderful building of Sikh Gurdawara located in Pujasab. While minorities comprise only 3-percent of Pakistan’s population, our country has many historic places of worship located in various parts of the Pakistan. We visited it in our youth interfaith group. Doing so helped to address stereotypes present in a country where most of the majority people avoid to go to minorities’ places of worship. Through the Diocese of Peshawar we often get the chance to visit these religious places and dialogue with other people of other faiths to promote religious freedom. This is a monthly practice built on the belief that God is everywhere. We are motivated to encourage religious tolerance in Pakistan and promote peaceful co-existence. I hope that our effort to promote the art of religious places of worship will increase the chances of understanding each other as faith friends and promote the peace that prevails for unity.
